Administrative Assistant

Guild Opera Company seeks an Administrative Assistant to help with the day-to-day management of our base of operations. Daily tasks may include answering phones or emails, filing, supporting our marketing and development departments, as well as other general administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as an interest in our mission and our programming. Familiarity with Guild Opera is required (please explore our website at guildopera.org), familiarity and experience working with local arts and/or education nonprofits is a plus.

This is a freelance, independent contractor position. Hours are flexible, fees will be commensurate with industry standards.

Grant Writer

Guild Opera Company seeks an experienced Grant Writer to assist with the research, execution, creation and submission of grant applications that will support our season of public events, education programs, classes and community outreach events. The Grant Writer will have excellent communication skills as well as a talent for pithy prose and an avoidance for “grant speak.” Familiarity with Guild Opera is a required (please explore our website at guildopera.org), familiarity and experience working with local arts and/or education nonprofits is a plus.
